TORRID TEASERS Volume 29 by CJ England

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

CJ England credits her passion for writing to her second grade sweetheart, Steven, a blond haired cutie with dimples, who dumped her for a girl who could swing on the monkey bars. She wrote her first story about love and loss after that tragic episode. In her life she has modeled, competed in rodeo as a barrel racer and trick rider, taught preschool, performed as an actress and singer, served cocktails at Disneyworld, specialized in production work, and got carried away by Spiderman when she worked with him at Universal Studios. She calls herself a gypsy, due to her curiosity and "itchy feet", She has spent time in fourteen countries, and has visited forty two states in our own. She is known on the internet as a bestselling author who can bring sensuality and romance together in ways that require you keep a fire extinguisher and a box of Kleenex handy. Described as having 'innovative story lines', 'a whiz at character development' and 'quite simply a genius!', CJ wants her books to spark the imaginations of her readers. So that they will begin to believe anything can happen if you…Follow Your Dreams.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

BLURB:

When tragedy strikes, a brother and sister decide that heading south to Key Largo and becoming 'Parrot Heads' could be the beginning of a new life for them both. When love finds them... they are sure of it.

When Garrett walks back into Bethany's life after leaving her during the hardest time in her life, can she find it in her heart to forgive him and start anew?

Derek has always been the bad boy in the family. He wants a new life, but when he gets in over his head he has to rely on an angel on a Harley to help him out of the mess.

In this new story in the Whiskey Creek Torrid Teaser line, two couples find out that love is more than just a day at the beach.

EXCERPT:
(Warning: The excerpt below contains explicit adult language and sexual content.)

Bethany knew she was dreaming. It was the same luscious dream she often had. She was lying in her lover’s arms and he was kissing her with that magic mouth of his. She never wanted to wake up, because when she did Garret would be gone. TORRID TEASERS Volume 29 by CJ England

But those lips felt so familiar…and so real.

“Baby…wake up. Bethy?”

It was the voice that did it. That deep sexy voice that made her think of hot, dark melted chocolate. Suddenly, she remembered. Her eyes popped open.

“Garrett?”

“Are you okay?”

She stared up at him. “What happened?”

He bent and kissed her forehead, pulling her against his chest protectively. “You fainted, honey.”

“I faint…” She broke off and her body tensed against his. “Let me go!”

Garrett frowned. “I don’t think—”

Swearing, Bethany pushed away from him and struggled to her feet. She ignored his outstretched hand.

“Damn it, Bethy!”

Tears glistened. “Don’t call me that!”

A flicker of something came and went in his eyes. “It’s what I always called you.”

She shook her head and backed away from him. “That was a long time ago.”

“Bethy…Bethany. We need to talk. What are you doing here?”

“Not looking for you. That’s for sure.” She whirled and started toward the door.

“No fuckin’ way!” he ground out. He pulled her to him, tight against his iron hard body. “You aren’t going anywhere!”

She struggled. “Try and stop me!”

“Fine.” He accepted the challenge, slanting his hard mouth over hers. His tongue forced its way between her lips, and then gentled, as he touched and tasted what he’d been missing for such a long time.

Her legs buckled again, but the way he was holding her, it didn’t matter. He gathered her even closer.

Bethany tried to fight him, but the feeling of being in his arms again was just too much for her. His touch, his taste, the very smell of him added to the flash of heat that went straight through her. Her body ached and her panties drenched in sudden dew.

With a moan, she gave up any thought of trying to get away. She put her arms around him and tangled her fists in his long blond hair. Rising up on her tip-toes, she pressed herself against him, glorying in the feel of his erection as it throbbed between her thighs.

Garrett sucked in his breath. God! No one ever made him feel the way she did. Taking advantage of her surrender, he lifted her and carried her over to the counter. He sat her on the edge and gently separated her legs with his hip, stepping between them. The short halter dress she was wearing moved easily out of his way as he ran a hand up her soft thigh. His other hand found the soft mound of her breast.

She gave a little gasp when his fingers brushed over her crotch, and he growled at the wetness he found there.

“God, Bethy… I want you. I missed you so much.”

His fingers teased her, sliding under the edge of the lace and nudging into her wet folds. She whimpered and dragged his mouth back to hers. Instinctively, she arched herself into him.

Sweat broke out on Garrett’s brow. Everything else flew out of his mind. The only thought left was being deep inside her. His finger pressed inside her, testing her as he undid the belt on his pants.

Bethany moaned as his long hard cock fell out into her waiting hand. He was so hot and he throbbed with life. She didn’t protest when he moved her panties out of the way, and rubbed the head of his cock against her wet yoni.

“Open up for me, honey,” he muttered hoarsely.

The jing-a-ling of the door chime froze him in his tracks.

“Ummm, excuse me? I’m looking for Mr. Castle.”

INTERVIEW:

1- You have traveled a lot in your life. What is your favorite place you've been?

I always say my favorite place is the one I haven't been to yet. Jonathon and I aren't ones to go back to a place if we have been there before. There are just so many places we haven't seen yet. But... if I have to choose, I can narrow it down to a few.

The Florida Keys... great place to dive and I adore the atmosphere of Key West San Francisco... Love the warf area. It's one of the reasons The Peacekeeper's Series from Whiskey Creek is set there. Yellowstone... I love this park. So big and beautiful and if you know critters, you can spend hours watching them. Italy... Love this country. The food, the scenery, the history, the shopping, and the men. Would go back there in a heartbeat!

2- Do you make time for pleasure reading now that you write? Who is your favorite author?

I have to set specific time aside to read. Sometimes I just need to get away, so I'll hide out by the lake and enjoy a 'friend' book. You know...one of those books that you never get tired of reading over and over again. My favorite author- bar none- is Nora Roberts. She has such an imagination and I hate finishing a series because I feel like I'm leaving a good friends house. I can read her books over and over again. The best compliment I ever received about my writing was when a reader compared me favorably to her. She would be one author I'd love to meet and have lunch with.

3- Who is your favorite character you've written to date?

This is a hard one. I fall for each of my heroes and my heroines are women I could be friends with. I think my favorite character so far would be Milcham from Don't Tempt the Phoenix. He is a unique character, totally alpha, but with a sensitivity that makes women sigh. Researching that book was a wonderful experience. I hated to end the story and even though I didn't have plans to do another book with those two characters, I may have to do one with their kids later on down the line.

4- When stressed or moody, what if your indulgence food?

Chocolate... any kind...any type. I can't have a lot because I have hypoglycemia and too much can cause an episode, but if I'm feeling blue, or if someone wants to do something special for me (huge hint to any fans out there ) chocolate is the answer. Specifically, brownies, rocky road ice cream or mud pie... YUM

5- Do you have a favorite TV show? Which one?

This changes with my moods. I have several I make sure I watch. Heros, Bones, House, Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, Blood Ties and Dresden Files. I love paranormal shows. Hate sitcoms!

6- What if you could do something not related to a computer at all, what would it be?

I've done a lot of differnt jobs in my life. If I could do something else, other than writing, it would be working as a diver again. I used to be a divemaster on a boat in Ft. Lauderdale, but I would rather work in the Keys in research. I used to work also with REEF, an organization that does naturalist work.

I love diving and the feeling of freedom I have in the water is exceeded only by when I create a world in a book.

7- If you could pick, what kind of shifter would you be?

Geesh... you DO ask tough ones. I love the many different kinds of shifters. But... I'd have to go with a hawk. I've always wanted to fly and the hawk is my totem. To soar on the wind would be a dream come true for me.

Though my hottie husband would say I should be a cat, because I adore to lay in the sun and sleep

8- What dessert would you be if you had to pick?

Ready for this... Ahem... I would be... a decadent brownie desset with home made chocolate icecream, topped with chocolate liquer syrup and chocolate whip cream. No cherry... lost that years ago.

9- What awards have you won or been nominated for?

Okay... in no particular order...

I have won...

Canadian Romance and Erotic Publisher Award 2006, Ecata Network Author of the Year 2006, Fallen Angel Author of the Month...September 2006, Winner of NaNoWriMo Novel Writing Award, Top Ten Finisher (6th Place) of the Predators and Editor Readers Choice Award for Don't Spank the Vamp and Honorable Mention in the Golden Rose Awards for Don't Spank the Vamp.

Nominated for...

PEARL Debut Author of the Year 2006, Ecata Romance Sensual Reviewers Choice Awards 2006 for Hot Tubs and Hot Hunks and Don't Spank the Vamp .

I am also up for three Fantasm Awards. Don't Spank the Vamp for Best Vampire Romance, Frosty...the Real Man for Best Urban Romance, and The Mylari Chronicles: The Soulmates for Best Faerie Tale Romance. This award will be given out on May 1st, so I'm not sure yet if I have won or not!
