Double-Edged Publishing's newest publication is called Mindflights. Published last January 2008, it is actually two magazines (The Sword Review and Dragons, Knights, & Angels) merged into one. The magazine specializes in speculative fiction and publishes original and unpublished fiction, poetry and essays in this genre. For submissions/contributions, they accept sci-fi, fantasy, horror, ghost stories, fairy stories, magic realism, etc. and even speculative subgenre is welcome--space opera, steampunk, urban fantasy, high fantasy, fable, fairy tale, historical fantasy, sword and sorcery, hard science fiction, magical realism, etc.

For now, Mindflights is a free online publication. However, a quarterly print version is also planned. The magazine pays 1/2 cent (US) per word with a minimum of $5.00 and a maximum of $25.00. Authors and artists whose works appear in the print version will also receive one contributor copy.
